Confirmed speakers

Dr. Gege Gatt is a digital entrepreneur, an IT-Law specialist, and an experienced Director serving on a number of company boards. He’s passionate about AI, digital ethics, transformation, culture and strategy. Gege is a TEDx speaker, a lecturer, and specialist examiner at the University of Malta. He has won the UK’s Enterprise Awards in 2024. He is the CEO of London-based company EBO.AI, an Artificial Intelligence platform which is disrupting the customer engagement industry through data. His work has been covered by IDC, USA Today, Forbes, Japan Times, the Telegraph, the FT and others. He’s a Director at ICON: a software development company serving markets in central Europe. He is an Executive Board Member of the Malta IT Law Association which promotes awareness of IT law issues around privacy and cybersecurity. Gege has been appointed by the World Health Organisation as an academic reviewer of its digital Health Information System strategy. Gege also served as the Chairman of Beacon Media Group which is a multi-platform media service including online and offline channels and which operates the news brand ‘Newsbook’ and 103FM. He is a regular contributor to IT publications and academic papers, and a frequent speaker at business and technology conferences. He has co-authored a book on Digital Psychology and 6 papers on digital marketing. Pro bono, Gege acts as a Board Member on the Vatican’s initiative on technology and well-being in Rome: Humanity 2.0 for which he also mentored the first ever Vatican Hackathon.

Stephanie Fabri

Dr Stephanie Fabri is an economist, specializing in strategic management and public policy. Having worked in the private and public sector, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in applying economics to firms, consumers and communities. Stephanie read for her PhD at the University of Warwick and her dissertation looked at strategic management in British companies. In her dissertation, she applied mathematical models used in Artificial Intelligence (fuzzy-logic methods) to the social sciences. Prior to getting her doctorate, Stephanie graduated with a MSc in Public Sector Economics from the University of York, and read for her first degree in economics from the University of Malta. To date, she sits on various boards of public and private sector entities including the Malta Stock Exchange plc., the Environment and Resources Authority, the Malta Fiscal Advisory Council, IZI Finance plc., and Epic Communications Ltd. Prior to these engagements, Stephanie was a consultant with the Ministry for the Environment, Climate Change, and Planning. Stephanie was also chairperson of the Intelligent Planning Consultative Forum which falls under the said Ministry. Throughout her career she has been involved in various studies for Government-led projects and private sector entities.

Dr Notary Clinton Bellizzi

Notary Clinton Bellizzi holds a Bachelor degree in Sociology and a Doctorate in Laws from the University of Malta. He was awarded the Warrant of Notary Public on the 17th June, 2003 and is also a Commissioner for Oaths. Notary Clinton Bellizzi's practice is housed at BELLIZZI LEGAL OFFICES, in the heart of Valletta, providing all the essential Notarial services, including authentications and attestations, real estate conveyancing, estate planning and succession, matrimonial agreements and property/business financing. Notary Clinton Bellizzi also lectured at the University of Malta on Notarial law, title registrations, guarantees and conveyancing as a visiting lecturer and dissertation, term papers and thesis supervisor. He has participated in a number of international conferences and symposia ranging from European succession regimes to circulation of authentic instruments and represented the Maltese Notariat during meetings of the Council of Notaries of the European Union (CNUE) as President of the Maltese Notarial Council (Kunsill Nutarili ta' Malta). With a penchant for everything revolving around information technology, data security and data governance, Notary Clinton Bellizzi participated in a number of national initiatives aimed at transposing Notarial services to the digital world, from deed registration to title searches and office management. Recent collaborations with key academic, professional and administrative entities, revolve around best practice recommendations in information security for Notaries and drafting a common policy for digital heritage regulation together with a comprehensive nation-wide data governance strategy, including DLT and AI solutions.
