Dr. Cherise Abela Grech is a Partner at GTG, overseeing the firm's Financial Services, Competition Law, Employment, and Residence and Citizenship practices. Since joining the firm in 2011, she has played a pivotal role in assisting clients to successfully obtain licenses from the MFSA across various financial services categories, with a particular focus on crypto asset service providers (CASPs) and financial institutions. She has also advised large-scale corporations on the establishment and regulatory implications of share option schemes.​

Dr Abela Grech also has extensive experience in corporate law matters and has provided comprehensive legal support to a diverse range of clients, guiding them through the entire lifecycle of their companies. 

She has advised on multiple notable corporate transactions and matters, including advising on competition and Foreign Directive Investment matters, such as by representing clients in anti-trust clearances, guiding large-scale firms undergo a merger or acquisition process, or the acquisition/disposal of critical infrastructure.
